The House
Behind a black stone wall and a single ember-red sign, three floors open up — and at the very back of the ground floor, a stone bath steams under its own sky.
AUR KYOTO is not a room in a hotel. It is one house, rented whole, to one group. Nobody else checks in, nobody else uses the bath, nobody else walks the stairs.
Three bedrooms, two living rooms, a tatami room with samurai armour on display, a full kitchen with a dining table for six and a baby high chair, and an open-air stone bath large enough to sit in together. Parking is inside the house. The villa opened in August 2026 — everything in it is new.

A stone bath of your own
Cut into rock, lit from below, open to the sky through a glass roof. No trip to a hot-spring town needed — an open-air stone bath in the middle of Kyoto city. It is not shared with other guests, and it is open 24 hours.

Eleven to fifteen people, one roof, one bath. Everything below is included in the house — not an add-on.
A music app by DJ LEAD
An original music app made for AUR KYOTO. An Android player and a Bluetooth speaker are already in the house, so nobody hands over a phone and the music never stops. Curated by DJ LEAD — 28 years behind the decks, 13 as a resident on HOT 97 New York. Not his hip-hop: the first selection he has made purely for chill.

Induction hobs, a coffee grinder and hand-drip, knives and pans — a kitchen you can actually cook in. The walnut dining table seats six, and a baby high chair makes a seventh.
For four, or for fifteen
A calm Western living room, a tatami room, and a theatre living room where everyone fits at once. A family of four or five has room to spread out; a party of ten or more finds a space unlike home. Grind the beans for coffee, share the open-air bath, watch a film all together — and make it the best of times.
