Room for fifteen. Under one roof.
Three floors, two living rooms, one bath — a house built for a family reunion, a wedding party or a group of friends who want to stay together instead of in six hotel rooms.
Sleeping
Three bedrooms, two rooms that convert
AUR KYOTO sleeps up to 15 guests. On the second floor is Bedroom 1; on the third, the master bedroom with twin beds and lit shelving. The tatami room takes two futon mattresses, and the theatre living room's sofa bed folds out, with an extra mattress alongside — so five separate rooms can be used for sleeping, and couples, grandparents and children can each have their own door.
Tell us the make-up of your group when you book and we will prepare the bedding accordingly.

Living & eating
Two living rooms, one long table
The second-floor living room is the quiet one: a deep sofa, walnut floor, low light. The third-floor theatre living room is where everyone ends up after the bath — a large screen and a sofa that seats the whole group. In between, a full kitchen with induction hobs, a coffee grinder and hand-drip, knives and pans, and a walnut dining table for six, with a baby high chair for a seventh. Larger groups eat in shifts or spread into the living rooms; it works better than it sounds.
Two toilets and two showers in the house, plus the open-air stone bath, which is private to your group and open 24 hours. One free parking space inside the building (about 210 × 500 × 220 cm).

The maths
One price for the house
AUR KYOTO is rented whole, at a nightly rate of roughly ¥110,000–120,000 (higher over New Year). Because the price is for the house, not per head, it falls quickly as the group grows:
- 6 guestsabout ¥18,000–20,000 per person per night
- 10 guestsabout ¥11,000–12,000 per person per night
- 15 guestsabout ¥7,300–8,000 per person per night
Figures are a guide only. Extra-guest charges and the final price are shown on the booking page before you pay.
