From the airports and the station
- From Kansai International Airport (KIX)By car or private transfer: about 1 hour 15 minutes via the expressway. By train: the JR Haruka limited express to Kyoto Station, then a 5-minute taxi.
- From Osaka Itami AirportBy car: about 30 minutes via the expressway. By bus: the airport limousine to Kyoto Station, then a 5-minute taxi.
- From Kyoto StationTaxi from the Hachijo (south) side, about 5 minutes and under ¥1,000. On foot, about 15 minutes from the Hachijo exit. Or one stop on the Kintetsu line to Toji Station and a 4-minute walk.
- ArrivalCheck-in from 4 pm. The key is in a key box at the door; we send the code before you arrive. Check-out by 10 am.
By car
One space, inside the house
One car parks inside the building, free, directly by the entrance. The space is about 210 cm wide, 500 cm deep and 220 cm high — fine for a standard car or a Japanese minivan; fold the mirrors for the width. A second car will need a coin parking lot nearby.
